James Byers

Dr. Byers chose to join Quantum Revolution because he feels QR as an organization embodies the model of addiction treatment in which he believes.

After working in addiction for the past five years, Dr. Byers is firmly convinced that counseling is a major part of recovery for those suffering from the disease of addiction. His response to those who ask in times of indecision is a resounding “Nothing beats a failure like a try.”

Dr. Neal Capretto, Medical Director of Gateway Rehab, has been Dr. Byers’ mentor in the addiction field of medicine as Obstetrics and Gynecology was his specialty for over 30 years. After trying retirement, Dr. Byers found that he needed to continue with the fulfilling purpose of his life—that of providing quality medical care to the members of his community, and those who are in need regardless of community. He is committed to continued learning about addiction and the disease process so that he can provide the care that is so desperately needed by so very many.
